وبالنظر لأهمية موضوع المخدرات، فقد سعى هذا البحث أيضاً لإلقاء الضوء على الخطر الكامن خلف شرب هذه السموم، متوسعاً في شرح الأسباب وموضحاً ما جاء حول هذا الموضوع من فتاوى قالت بتحريم تعاطيها وزراعتها وصناعتها والاتجار فيها. هذا ولم ينسى البحث التوقف عند الفتوى الصادرة من الأزهر والتي جاءت لتحرم زراعة التبع واستخدامه بالتالي كسجائر.
