ولا يقف الكتاب عند تسليط الأضواء على علاقة إيران بالعرب قديماً، وإنما يرصد تلك العلاقة حديثاً في العصر الصفوي، وما صاحبه من إنتشار التشيع في ذلك العصر، وأثر الفكر السياسي الإيراني في العرب، وما أعقبه من أحداث الثورة الإيرانية، وما أفرزته من قوى سياسية وتيارات مذهبية، وما تفعله إيران من تدخلات في البلاد العربية ومحاولاتها تصدير الثورة لهذه البلاد.
ويقدم الكتاب أخيراً نظرة تفصيلية لعوامل الإلتقاء والإفتراق بين إيران والسعودية، وعلاقتها بمن حولها من دول العالم في النطاق الجغرافي والإطار العالمي، وما أصابها من تحولات إجتماعية بعد الثورة وعلاقتها بأمريكا والكيان الصهيوني، وقد أتى كل ذلك مؤيداً بالوثائق والأدلة والبراهين التي تقدم الحقيقة ناصعة للعيان وجلية لأي إنسان.
