على عكس أحد عناوينه، يغامر حيدر قحطان بتحويل كلّ شيء إلى كتابة شعريّة، قصيدته لهاث مستمر، دأبٌ لضم المرئي والمحذوف بلا خوف من رقيب فنيّ أو اشتراطات وقوالب، قصيدة حرّة، لكنها الحريّة الخطرة التي بزغت مع التغيير السياسي، سطوة الميديا، دوامة العنف والتباس القارئ. كأن القصيدة تسير في حقل. خطوة إلى السّماء وأخرى إلى الهاوية. "تحت سيطرة إمرأة" يقترح الشاعر لعالم قصيدته أن يكون.. وحدها الأنوثة علاج عالمنا، وعلينا أن نصدّق الشاعر.

يزاوج حيدر قحطان فرضي الغرائبية والمفارقة النوعية - اللذين باتا كعلامتين لنصوص الألفية الثالثة، بفعل أسلوبي مغاير، يمكنني أن أطلق عليه: السوريالية الرومانسية، وهي مزيج من السوداوية المبهجة !، والعدم ، وجلد القيم والذات خارج الجماعة، إنه يفتح ماكنة الحياة ويشرع بإصلاح نشازها، ويزيح عنها القبح، فكيف هو الراهن إن لم يكن نايا مثقوبا من المكان الخطأ؟! بل كيف سيبدو الشعر إن لم يكن كذلك.

فيما قرأتُ وأقرأ لحيدر قحطان، أرى بشكلٍ جليّ تلقائيّةً وفطريّةً لم تتكرر كثيراً في الشعر العراقيّ، يكتب قحطان مُنطلقاً من ذاته وحدها ومغامرته الشخصية بلا مرجعيات، عفويّ وغير متوقع، معنيّ بالمفاجأة أكثر من الحمولة اللغوية، والشِعرية أكثر من الزخرف اللفظي.
