أن تدخل الحرب بتفاصيلها اليومية، وأن تدوّن آلام الأمهات والحبيبات شعراً، هو أن تكشف وجهاً آخر للحرب.. فليس الموت أن تضيع حياة أحد ما على مشارف الرصاص والمدافع، وليست الحياة أن تبقى آمناً في بيتٍ تدور حوله الحرب، كلاهما- الموت والحياة- مرتبطان ببعضهما البعض وكأنهما جسدٌ واحدٌ لا يفصل بينها إلا الحرب.
هكذا يدخلنا حيدر قحطان في مجموعته (خارج النافذة بقليل) بمتاهات الموت وتفاصي أن تدخل الحرب بتفاصيلها اليومية، وأن تدوّن آلام الأمهات والحبيبات شعراً، هو أن تكشف وجهاً آخر للحرب.. فليس الموت أن تضيع حياة أحد ما على مشارف الرصاص والمدافع، وليست الحياة أن تبقى آمناً في بيتٍ تدور حوله الحرب، كلاهما- الموت والحياة- مرتبطان ببعضهما البعض وكأنهما جسدٌ واحدٌ لا يفصل بينها إلا الحرب.
هكذا يدخلنا حيدر قحطان في مجموعته (خارج النافذة بقليل) بمتاهات الموت وتفاصيل الحياة، الموت على مقربة من كل شيء، والحياة البعيدة عن كل شيء.. هكذا يؤنسن الحرب، يعطيها بعداً آخر، فالحياة ليست سوى رعشة من رعشات الموت، وهي تُمسك بإطار صورة لا تريد الموت:
في اليوم الأول من رحيلك
توقف الزمن داخل المنزلِ
ووالدتك أصبحت مثل ساعة منبه حزينة
تمسك صورتك وتهتز.
