هذا مدخل لدراسة الفلسفة عبر النظر في الطبيعة المفاهيمية للدرس الفلسفي؛ فإن الإهتمام بالمفاهيم يعتبر في منزلة الفرائض المعرفية التي ترسم مسار التفكير، وتحدد الذاتية الحقيقية لمواصفات ومباني الأشياء.
ذلك أن المفاهيم تحدد طبيعة الإشكال، وطبيعة النماذج المعرفية التي تدور في إطارها المعارف والعلوم، ونظراً للقيمة الحيوية للمفهوم، فإن طريقة الفلسفة في مُناطقة المفهوم لها خصوصيتها المعرفية والمنهجية.
فالمفهوم بلغة السيميولوجيا يدل على شيء آخر، أكثر من دلالته على ذاته الظرفية والمتعيّنة، وهذا الشيء الآخر هو صورة معرفية أو نموذج إدراكي أو رؤية إلى العالم، تعكس رحابة أوسع في المعنى، وتجيب عن أسئلة أعمق.
إن المفهوم في بنية التّفكير الفلسفي، يدل على شيء آخر، أكثر من دلالته على معناه المباشر، وبالتالي فقيمته تكون ضمن إرادة المُناطقة المعرفية الباحثة عن السُّلالات الأصلية، أو الجذر الذي يزود المفاهيم بنسغ الحياة ومبرر التداول والحركة.
