لذا ارتأيت أن أبدأ في الكتابة عن مرض السكري حيث أن يتضمن الفصل الأول الغدة البنكرياسية والتهابها وأمراضها وأمراض الكبد، الفصل الثاني يتحدث عن هرمونات السكري، الأنسولين، مصادره، تناوله، حقنه، أفرازه، مستحضراته، مستقبلاته، آلياته وظائفه، مضاهياته، علاجه، الأخطاء الوراثية، مستحضراته التجارية، مثيراته، محسساته ثم هرمون الكلوكاكون، آليات عمله، ايضه، شبيهاته وأخيراً هرمونات incretin مضاهياته، مثبطاته ومستقبلاته، مضاهياته، الفصل الثالث يبحث عن السكري، منعه، أسبابه، أعراضه، مخاطره، اختباراته، نماذج الحيوانات، توازن الكلوكوز، الفصل الرابع يتضمن مرض السكر، النمط الأول، النمط الثاني، سكري الحمل، السكر الوراثي، الفصل الخامس يتحدث عن مضاعفات السكري وأخيراً الفصل السادس يتضمن العلاج.
