سَعَى هَذَا الْكِتَابُ إِلَى عُدَّةِ التَّأْوِيلِيَّةِ التَّقَابُلِيَّةِ التَّسَانُدِيَّةِ، عبْرَ مَدَاخِلَ جَدِيدَةٍ، وَعَبْرَ تَطْبِيقَاتٍ عَلَى خِطَابَاتٍ بَلِيغَةٍ هِيَ عَلَى التَّرَاتُبِ: القُرْآنُ الْكَرِيمُ، وَالْقَصِيدَةُ الْعَرَبِيَّةُ الْقَدِيمَةُ، وَشِعْرُ الحَدَاثَةِ. وَالْكِتَابُ أَيْضاً جُزْءٌ مِنْ مَشْرٌوعٍ مُمْتَدٍّ لِلْبَاحِثِ مُصطفى رَجوان، يَنْتَمِي إِلَى حَقْلِ تَحْلِيلِ الخِطَابِ، أَسَاسُهُ بِنَاءُ المفَاهِيمِ بِاعْتِبَارِهَا أَدَوَاتٍ إِجْرَائِيَّةً لِقِرَاءَةِ النُّصُوصِ الْبَلِيغَةِ، وَتَقْدِيمِهَا لِلْقَارِئِ الْعَرَبِيّ مَعَ نَمَاذِجَ تَطْبِيقِيَّةٍ. وَقَدْ كَانَتِ الْبِدَايَةُ مَعَ كِتَابِ "الشِّعْريَّةُ وَانْسِجَامُ الخِطَابِ" الَّذِي وَضَّحَ مَفْهُومَي الاِتِّسَاقِ وَالانْسِجَامِ بِنَاءً عَلَى أَسَاسَيْهِمَا اللِّسَانِيَّيْنِ، وَقَدَّمَ رُؤْيَةً لِتَطْبِيقِهِمَا بِالشَّكْلِ الصَّحِيحِ عَلَى الْخِطَابِ الشِّعْرِيِّ المعَاصِرِ مِنْ أَجْل الْكَشْفِ عَنْ شِعْرِيَّتِهِ، في مُحَاوَلَةٍ لِتَجَاوُزِ التَّعَسُّفِ الَّذِي طَالَ تَطْبِيقَ الاتِّسَاقِ عَلَى الخِطَابِ الشِّعْرِيِّ المعَاصِرِ
