"الهداية الكافية الشافية لبيان حقائق الإمام ابن عرفة الوافية" أثر جليل نفيس من آثار العهد الحفصي بتونس، العهد الحافل بمصنفات فقهية تمخضت عنها جهود أعلام بارزين، أصل هذا الأثر الحدود الفقهية التي أودعها الإمام ابن عرفة (803) ديوانه الفقهي الموسوم بالمختصر، وهي زبدة جهده في صوغ التعريفات الدقيقة الممتازة بالضبط والجمع والمنع، ويمثل جهده هذا حلقه هامة في سلسلة جهود الواضعين للحدود عبر تاريخ التشريع الإسلامي.
اتجهت عناية الرصاع إلى هذا الأثر تنهزه الرغبة في البيان والتفسير والحرص على توضيح ما اتسم به هذا الأصل من اختصار شديد واقتصار في التعبير. ولم يقتصر على هذا الأصل بل احتوت جهود إلى ما اتصل به من شروط وأركان وموانع يوضحها بما يلقي الضوء على الحد، كما امتدت جهوده إلى كثير من الضوابط الفقهية التي أخذها من المختصر وأسهم في توضيحها وشرحها، ثم احتوت جهوده إلى أكثر من ذلك فقام بسد ثلمات، إذ ساق تعريفات لما لم يعرفه الشيخ ابن عرفة، كانت مما انتقاه من الكتب الفقهية، ومما عمد إلى صوغه بنفسه، جرياً على أصول ابن عرفة.
ولم يكن شرحه للحدود شرحاً لفظياً جافاً، بل كان من أغلب الأحيان يتوسع ويعرض المباحث ويورد الاعتراضات ويتصدى للجواب، ويقابل أقوال ابن عرفة بعضها ببعض، كما يقابلها بأقوال غيره في الموضوع نفسه، ويقارن ويرجح ويتدخل تدخلاً بارزاً تتجلى معه شخصيته العلمية وثقافته الواسعة في الفقه والمنطق والأصول والعقيدة والجدل. كما ضمنه كثيراً من أقوال الفقهاء ومن أبحاث مجالس ابن عرفة وآراء تلاميذه الذين أخذ الرصاع من الكثير منهم، وهيأوا له أن يفهم مقاصد شيخهم، ومكنوه من أن يصبح مؤهلاً لتفسير نصوصه، ولرد الاعتراضات التي وجهت إليها، والتي افترضها إثراءً للمبحث وتوسيعاً لمجاله.
كل ما أشرنا إليه جعل لهذا الكتاب "الهداية الكافة" قيمته الكبرى في موضوعه وهي القيمة التي حدت بالمحققان "محمد أبو الأجفان" و"الطاهر المعموري" إلى تحقيق هذا الكتاب مهتمين بإخراج النص سليم، حسن التوزيع، مع محافظتها على تنظيم المؤلف للكتب والأبواب، كما واهتما بالترجمة للأحلام التي ورد ذكرهم في النص، كذلك أتيا ترجمة للمصنف أبي عبد الله بن قاسم الرصاع الأنصاري وبكتابه "الهداية" وبالأصل الذي استمدت منه الحدود المشروحة في الهداية ويقصد بذلك المختصر الفقهي للإمام ابن عرفة.
