إن الأحوال الشخصية فى وطننا العربى، بل فى وطننا الإسلامى، هى أحوال الأسرة فيه، وقد جاءت تعاليم الإسلام مبينة أحكام هذه الأحوال وحقوق الأسرة - حتى أن بعض هذه الحقوق إعتبرها الفقهاء من حقوق الله إحتراماً للأسرة وأفرادها، تأكيداً من الشارع الحكيم على خيرية هذه الأمة، من أجل ذلك حاولت أن أتناول التعليق على قانون الأحوال الشخصية فى البلد الشقيق تونس أسوة بمحاولات قمت بها بالنسبة لقانون دولة الكويت وقانون دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة وقانون دولة عُمان - ولم يكن هذا الجهد المتواضع إلا لما نعتقده من ترابط وأخوة مع أبناء هذه البلاد الشقيقة، نقدم لها ما قدمناه لقانون الأحوال الشخصية فى جمهورية مصر العربية.
و ادعو الله مخلصاً صادقاً أن يمكن للأسرة المسلمة فى كل بلاد الإسلام، وأن يجعل الترابط والود والرحمة أساس التعامل فيها - إنه نعم المولى ونعم الوجيب،،
