الكتاب الذى نقدمه قصد به بيان التحريمات التى تنفذ من الزوج بحكم ملك النكاح، فهو عبادة- وهذه التحريمات أربعة. الأولى- الطلاق وهو الأصل وقد أبيح فى وقته وظروفه وتحقيق شروطه وقد قدمنا فى أحكامه كتابا فى الطلاق والتطليق. والثانية- الإيلاء لأنه أقرب إلى الطلاق فى الإباحة من حيث هو يمين مشروع لكن فيه ظلم، إذا فيه منع حق الزوجة فى الوطء. الثالثة والرابعة الظهار واللعان، وهما لاينفكان عن المعصية.
أما الخلع فيختص عن الأنواع الأربعة السابقة، لاختصاصة بالرضائية بين الزوجين عليه، وتسمية المال فيه مقابل الطلاق.
