ولخطورة (الربا) وأثر على المجتمع الإسلامي، فقد بدأ الكتاب وبشكل منطقي بتعريف الربا، ثم انتقل إلى حكم الربا والحكمة من تحريمه، وبين أنواع الربا، وحدد عقوبات المتعاملين بالربا ثم بدأ ببحث معاملات المصارف الربوية، فتحدث عن الإقراض بالفائدة وحكمه الشرعي، والودائع النقدية، وحسابات التوفير وشهادات الاستثمار والكفالات البنكية وغير ذلك من معاملات المصاريف وشرع الكتاب بعدها بالحديث عن المعاملات تتعلق بربا الديون في غير المصارف؛ فبين حكم بيع وشراء الذهب بالثمن المؤجل، وكذلك الحكم بيع العينة، وحكم تعجيل الدين بشرط الخصم منه وعرض للتأمين التجاري المحرم؛ فوضح مفهومه، وتاريخه، وخصائصه وعناصره، ومشروعيته وطرق موضوع إعادة التأمين، ومشروعيته، وحكم إعادة التأمين في شركات التأمين الإسلامية وفصل الكتاب في أحكام الغرض في الفقه الإسلامي؛ فعرف القرض أولاً وحكمه، وأركانه، وصفة عقد القرض وغير ذلك وختم الكتاب موضوعاته بالوسائل المقترحة للحد من انتشار المعاملات الربوية".
