أنزل القرآن الكريم تبياناً لكل شيء، وأوحي إلى الرسول صلى الله عليه وسلم أن يبين للناس ما نزل إليهم لعلهم يتفكرون، فكانت مجموعة من النصوص تتمثل فيها شريعة كاملة تجتمع فيها أحكام شؤون الناس.
ولكن هذه النصوص على كثرتها لم تبين أحكام ما يحدث في مستقبل الأيام تفصيلاً، فكان لا بد من شيء آخر غير النصوص يفصل ما أجملته، ويستنبط الحكم... فكان الاجتهاد.
ولأن العقول متفاوتة، والمدارك متباينة، والأفهام مختلفة، فلو ترك الباب مفتوحاً لكل راغب في أخذ الأحكام من النصوص، لحصل الاختلاط، ولوقع التضارب في الأحكام ولاضطرب أمر الشريعة، فكان من الضروري وضع قواعد يسير عليها من أراد أن يستنبط الأحكام الشرعية من أدلتها. ولذلك وذع القائمون على الشريعة قواعد تضبط هذا العمل، هي "أصول الفقه".
وهذا الكتاب هو عبارة عن مساهمة في تكييف بعض القضايا الدعوةية من خلال التأصيل الشرعي لها، وتدعيماً لذلك بالنماذج والأمثلة الدعوية.
