يأتي هذا الجهد الجديد ليكون حلقة في سلسلة جهود متواضعة لي تمثلت بإصدار كتب تتضمن المساهمات المتواضعة التي نشرتها في صحفنا الأردنية حول مختلف الأوضاع والشؤون، وشجون الوطن. ويتضمن هذا الكتاب رؤى وتحليلات في القضايا السياسية التي تشغل بالي كمواطن أردني وعربي، أتفاعل مع الأحداث وأفعلها.
وينقسم هذا الكتاب إلى أربعة أبوب رئيسة تناولت معظم ما سبق لي نشره في القضايا السياسية والإعلامية، والتفاعل مع الأحداث المحلية والعالمية في عهد النظام العالمي الجديد، والذي تميز ببعض ما أسميته اللامعقول العربي، محاولاً تلمس ما يمكن عمله لتحسين المحصلة النهائية. وقد توزعت الموضوعات تحت عناوين الأبواب الرئيسة الأربعة، التي راعيت في ترتيبها التسلسل التاريخي لظهور هذه المقالات ضمن الباب الواحد.
يتناول الباب الأول في كتابي هذا الكتاب مقالات تتصل بالإعلام والمصطلحات المتداولة والأحداث المتصلة بها، وتبين هذه المقالات كم نحن مستهلكون وليس منتجين للإعلام، وكم من الأخطاء يقع فيها الإعلام لأنه يبرمج نفسه، بوعي كان ذلك أو بدون وهي، ليكون في موقع المتلقي. أما الباب الثاني المعنون "في عهد النظام العالمي الجديد" يتضمن الإشارة لما آلت إليه أحوال أمتنا العربية في هذا الزمن الذي مهما حاولنا إعادة تسميته، إلا أنه ليس زمننا.
ويبين الباب الثالث ما يمكن لنا عمله لتحسين الوضع وكيف يمكن التعامل مع كثير من المشاكل التي نواجهها من فرقة وتنازع، وعدم اللجوء للحوار ما بين مسؤولي هذه الأمة لحل المشاكل التي نواجهها. ويقدم الباب الرابع بعضاً من اللامعقول في هذا العالم العربي وتداعياته على نفس الإنسان العادي على أمل أن يستدعي ذلك إدراك ما سيؤدي إليه هذا اللامعقول، آملاً بعمل عقلاني يصوب المسيرة ويعيد العقول إلى رشدها. وينتهي الكتاب بخاتمة قصيرة.
