إذا كانت أهم معالم "التدافع الإسلامي" أو الصراع على النطق باسم الإسلام، قبل منعطف اعتداءات نيويورك، تُختزل في التوترات التي طبعت علاقة الأنظمة العربية والإسلامية مع الحركات الإسلامية، من جهة، أو الخلاف القديم/الجديد بين فقهاء المؤسسة والمفكرين الإصلاحيين، من جهة ثانية، فقد كانت أبرز معالم الصراع ذاته في مرحلة ما بعد الاعتداءات، ظهور أصوات غربية، سواء كانت محسوبة على صناع القرار السياسي أو الأمني، أو ناطقة باسم مراكز أبحاث و"علب أفكار"، تدعو إلى تعديل المناهج التعليمية والدينية في المجال التداولي الإسلامي العربي تارة، أو تروج لمفاهيم أخلاقية على صناع القرار الإسلامي العربي تارة أخرى، واستفحل هذا التدخل الغربي في الشؤون الإسلامية والعربية إلى درجة إصدار ما اصطلح عليه بـ"الفرقان الحق"، أو "النسخة المعدلة" من القرآن الكريم، تطورت الأمور فلسفياً، عندما انخرطت أسماء فكرية وازنة في المجال التداولي الأمريكي، في شرعنة الحرب الأمريكية المفتوحة في العديد من بقاع العالم، وقد تكون أهم "حسنات" هذه المستجدات، انخراط العديد من الناطقين أو المحسوبين على العقل الإسلامي والعقل الغربي، في معارك "الاشتباك الفكري" والتي أفرزت لائحة من المؤلفات والبيانات والاجتهادات، هنا نسلط الضوء على بعض هذه الأعمال، بهدف تقريب المتلقي العربي من بعض خلفيات واستحقاقات "الصراع على الإسلام".
