يأتي هذا العمل كقراءة نقدية ذات موقف صريح مما يصدر عن تنظيم القاعدة، يتأسس على قراءات نقدية شتى، صدرت في المجالين التداوليين، الإسلامي/العربي والغربي على حد سواء لظاهرة مجتمعية مركبة.
لأجل ذلك، يتجه "منتصر حمادة" في ثنايا عمله هذا عند ثقل العوامل الخارجية التي تغذي أدبيات التنظيم، تأسيساً على ما جاء في قراءات غربية وإسلامية بالطبع، تجمع على ضرورة فتح أوراش النقد الذاتي، ذلك الذي من المفترض أن تقوم به السياسات الغربية، وخاصة منها الأمريكية، في حُسن التدبير والتفاعل مع الأسئلة المقلقة التي أفرزها صعود الحركات الإسلامية "الجهادية".
يهدف هذا الكتاب إلى التعريف بأهم ما صدر عن المثقفين العرب والمثقفين الغربيين والمثقفين المسلمين المقيمين في الغرب، وكذلك، الفقهاء المسلمين في معرض نقد ونقض أدبيات الحركات الإسلامية "الجهادية"، من خلال نموذج تنظيم "القاعدة"، وهذا عين ما يميز الفصول الأربعة الأولى من العمل، في حين خُصص الفصل الخامس والأخير لاستعراض أهم الخلاصات النقدية المتفرعة عن القراءات التي ارتحل معها المؤلف سلفاً، فضلاً عن توقفه عند أهم التحديات الحضارية التي تواجه المسؤولين وصناع القرار في المجالين التداوليين، الإسلامي/العربي والغربي، قبل التوقف عند أهم المسلَّمات المفاهيمية المُؤسِّسة لما اعتبرناه كُبْرى مقتضيات مصالحة "الإسلام العربي" بـ "الغرب المسيحي".
أما القاسم المشترك الأبرز بين مُجمَل هذه الإصدارات التي تطرقت للملف، بما فيها هذا العمل فيوجزها المؤلف في الأثر العربي الشهير، والصادر عن الإمام مالك، وهو يشير بأصبعه إلى قبر خير البرية، رسول الإسلام والإنسانية، النبي محمد الذي أُرسل "رحمة للعالمين"، ومفاده أن "كل يُؤخذ من كلامه ويُرد، إلا صاحب هذا القبر".
دراسة هامة يحض المؤلف من خلالها العقل الإسلامي المعاصر على اتخاذ موقف صريح مما يجري، وهذا ما يميز هذا العمل عن غيره، جدير بالاطلاع.
