وفيها ما ينضوي تحت عنوان المجتمع المعاصر المختنق بالمادية المفرطة في الغرب، وانعكاس ذلك على مجتمعنا، والأزمة التي نعيشها في الإنسياق وراء التقليد. وفيها ما يدعو للتأمل في الإنسان وانطلاقته في العالم الرحب، والتفكر بآيات الله، وبديع خلقه في الحيوان والنبات والكواكب، وما تدل عليه.
ليس في الكتاب ترتيب معين لموضوعاته، وإنما يقدم نصوصه تفاريق متناثرة من الآيات القرآنية الكريمة، والأحاديث النبوية الشريفة، وكلام الحكماء العرب وغيرهم، والطرائف الجديدة، والأشعار المستملحة، وسير العظماء.. كل ذلك بأسلوب سهل غير متكلف.
