كانت ملامح هذا الكتاب وبعض النقاط منه ضمن اهتماماتى من قبل إلا أن الأحداث التى عاشتها الأمة كلها عجلت متابعة ما سبق على أمل الانتهاء منه فى وقت مناسب وربما كمحاولة ذاتية وخاصة لتجاوز الحالة النفسية التى أصبح الجميع عليها بانتهاء المعارك بالعراق (إبرايل 2003م) . وهى ليست آخر الحروب .. ينتظر ما بعدها كما مانت قبلها وان رصد البعض بداية الرواية على شكلها المعاصر برواية " غابة الحق" السورية عام 1865 ورواية " زينب " المصرية 1913 كأول رواية فنية هذا الجنس الدبى الوليد ماحرصت على رصده هو علاقة هذا الفن النثرى بالتجربة الحربية تحديدا .. والسؤال الجوهرى الآن: ماذا قدمت التجربة الحربية للرواية؟
