يطرح هذا الكتاب السؤال: هل ألحقت جريمة الاعتداء على المصنفات بالجرائم المشهودة وأجازت الدخول و الضبط على وجه السرعة و المداهمة؟ وغيرها من الأسئلة الخاصة بموضوع الشبهة و ما يبنى عليها من حكم و موضوع التشدد العقابي. يعتبر حق المؤلف من حقوق التي عرفتها الحضارات القديمة لذا فقد بحث الكتاب الطبيعة القانونية لحق المؤلف و الحقوق الملكية و الشخصية و ما إلى ذلك. و اهتم بشرح عناصر حق المؤلف و خصائص الحق الأدبي و الحق المادي و خصائصه.
ثم انتقل إلى تحديد المصنفات المشمولة بالحماية لا على سبيل الحصر إنما على سبيل التمثيل و لم يشترط المشرع في هذه المصنفات إلا أن تكون مبتكرة فصور الإبداع الفكري كافة في المصنفات الأدبية و العلمية و الفنية و الموسيقية... الخ، كما جاء على ذكر المؤلفين المشمولين بالحماية القانونية و مدة الحماية و مصير المصنف بعد انتهاء مدة الحماية.
و قد سلط الضوء على وسائل حماية حق المؤلف، حيث حرص المشرع الأردني في قانون حماية حق المؤلف على كفالة و حماية حق المؤلف المادي و الأدبي من الاعتداء عليها و حفاظا على المصنفات من التشويه أو التحريف أو أي صورة من صور الاعتداء عليها و شروط الإيداع و الجزاءات المفروضة ثم يشير إلى وسائل حماية حق المؤلف على الصعيد الدولي.
