والمشكلة التي يعالجها البحث ذات صلة بالخلاف الذي حدث بين علماء المسلمين فيما إذا كان الحوار جائزا شرعا ام لا ومن ثم انشقوا الي صفين:صف مؤيد له واخر معارض بحجة ان الدعوة الي الحوار بادرة غريبة تهدف من وراء ما تهدف الي تحقيق المطامع الغريبة في العالم الاسلامي.
