فيلجأ إلى سرد مفصل للقيم الاجتماعية في الإسلام ومعاني الوجود وبناه في الإنسان فيركز على المفاهيم الأخلاقية التي جاء بها الإسلام ويعرض الكتاب لمكارم الأخلاق وصلة الرحم وصنائع المعروف. كما يتطرق إلى المعاني الرئيسية التي حثت عليها الشريعة من الورع عن محارم الله تعالى والورع في الشريعة يعني الكف عن المحارم، والزهد يعني القناعة بالحلال كف النظر عما في أيدي الناس، وهو من الزهد الذي له أكثر أثر في حياة الفرد والجماعة والمجتمع.
كما يتحدث المؤلف عن الموت إذ أن جميع القيم والفضائل والمحاذير التي يشير إليها المؤلف له ارتباط شديد بفقه الإسلام الوجودي، ومسيرة الإنسان تبدأ بالحياة ولا تنتهي بالموت، بل تعبر عبر قنطرة الموت إلى العالم الآخر كما يتطرق إلى مفهوم الآخرة وعلاقته بحياة الفرد والجماعة وحقوق الإخوان، والآفات الاجتماعية، وموجبات الأعمال التي تدخل الجنة. والكتاب يركز على المعاني المفيدة في هذا المجال والتي تشكل في حد ذاتها قيماً يحرص المسلمون على صونها وإعلاء شأنها.
