انخرط في صفوف المقاومة الفلسطينية واستلم عدة مناصب في مؤسسات منظمة التحرير الفلسطينية.
عمل نائباً لرئيس تحرير مجلة الكاتب الفلسطيني الصادرة عن اتحاد الكتاب العرب والصحفيين الفلسطينيين في بيروت.
عضو في جمعية القصة والرواية.
من مؤلفاته: ذكرى الأيام الماضية - قصص - بيروت 1970.
أيام الحرب والموت- رواية - بيروت 1973.
بيت أخضر ذو سقف قرميدي- قصص- بغداد 1974.
البكاء على صدر الحبيب- رواية - بيروت 1974.

هذه القصة حقيقة او واقعية تماماً، لا خيال فيها ولا تأليف، احتفظ فبها الكاتب في السر أشهراً كثيرة، ولكن ولأن الامر بات خطيراً، فقد قرر الكاتب رواءها ولكي لا يأخذ الامر طابع التشهير باالأبوين فلم يذكر اسميهما كاملين وعنوانهما وفي ذاك الوقت ينشر ذلك السر او الحقيقة والتلميح الى الابوين بداية لوضع السر امام عيونكم او في اسماعكم ....الخ
