أشار كبير الكهان أن صمتًا. فصمتت كل الحملان:
يا خدام الرب ما أجهلكم. أن يكذب يوسف أو يصدق هل هذا ما يشغلكم؟! المحنة أكبر من هذا!
المحنة أن الفرعون من السحر أفاق. وأدرك أن الكاهن يمكن أن يجهل. يمكن أن يعجز!!
وتلك الداهية الدهياء!
فإذا هان رجال الدين. هان الدين! إن يسقط خادم بيت الرب فيسقط حتمًا ملك الرب!
ونحن الناموس ونحن القانون ونحن الإيمان. قوتنا أن يبقى الرب مهيب الأركان. ومهابته تكمن في قدسيتنا.
والقدسية أن يبقى الكاهن يعلوه غموض لا يدرك أحد سر الحكمة فيه.
الكاهن ساعتها يبقى يقود. يبقى يسود من غير جنود.
والكاهن إن سقط بنفس الفرعون فقد يسقط في نفس العامة وتلك هي الطامة!!
لن يؤذينا أن يملك ذاك العبراني قلب الفرع يعني أن الشعب غضوب!
ولهذا يخضع رب العرش لقوتنا. وأشيعوا في الناس الخوف.
لا يمكن أن نبقى أسيادًا من دون الخوف.! وأشيروا بالتوبة من ذنب العقل. وليحذر ذاك الشعب من سم الفكر. لا بد أن تغلق في الناس عيون. قولوا أن الشيطان يقف بكل طريق كي يخطف أطفال الرب. وأن الباب أمان. والباب طريق الإيمان. والباب هو الكهان.! ساعتها تبقى الراية مرفوعة ويبقى للكاهن صوت مسموع. إياكم أن يسبقكم ذاك اليوسف للناس.
من يملك قلب الناس فقد ساس!!
