إن حق الوالدين من أعظم الحقوق بعد حقّ الله تعالى وحقّ رسوله صلى الله عليه وسلم، وذلك ببرهما والإحسان إليهما وطاعتهما، وخفض الجناح لهما، وبتقديمهما على النفس والأهل والأولاد، من غير منّة ولا استثقال. وهناك تساؤل مطروح هل طاعتهم في أمرهما أو أمر أحدهما بطلاق الزوجة داخلة تحت عموم وجوب طاعتهم وعدم معصيتهم أو أن ذلك غير واجب عليه وإن سخطا وغضبا عليه، ولا يعتبر ذلك من العقوق؟
ومساعدة لأولئك الأبناء الذين يبحثون عن الحكم الشرعي في هذه المسألة الفقهية الواقعية الاجتماعية الحرجة، جاء هذا الكتاب نتيجة لبحث المؤلف في ما ورد في هذه المسألة من أحاديث وآثار وأقوال للعلماء والفقهاء، ليكون هذا البحث دليلاً ينقذ الواقعون في حيرة من أمرهم في هذه المسألة من خلال علمهم بحكم الشرع فيما وقعوا فيه، حتى يكونوا على بصيرة من أمرهم.
تعرض هذه الرسالة بحثاً مهماً في مسألة فقهية اجتماعية محرجة، طالما تطلع إليها الكثيرون، وتشوفوا لمعرفة حكمها، وهي: هل يجب على الابن طاعة الوالدين في أمرهما أو أمر أحدهما بتطليق زوجته أو لا؟
وقد تم عرض ما ورد في هذه المسألة من أحاديث نبوية كريمة، وآثار شريفة، وما قال فيها الأئمة الفقهاء رضي الله عنهم، مع ذكر أدلتهم، ووجهات نظرهم.
وخُتم البحث بتوجيهات وإرشادات مهمة، ووصايا غالية لهذا الابن البار بوالديه، تدفعه للحرص الشديد على مداراة والديه، واستعمال الحكمة معهما ما استطاع إلى ذلك سبيلاً، ليبقى فائزاً برضاهما.
كما فيها وصاة للآباء الكرام بأن لا يحوجوا أبناءهم للوقوف على عتبة باب عقوقهم، فرحم الله والداً أعان ولده على برِّه.
