تعتبر سورة يوسف ( عليه السلام) في القرآن الكرمي من أرق وأكثر القصص إنسانية فتأخذ بلب وقلب قارئها .. فقد جاءت متصلة فى سورة واحدة سميت على إسمه ( عليه السلام) موضحة بكل تفصيلها. وفى هذا الكتاب قام الدكتاب قام الدكتور ( أحمد عطا إبراهيم حسن)بقراءة تحليلية لها بدأت بتناول أسباب نزلها وأسمها والأفاظ المستخدمة فيها ليقسم بعدها الدراسة إلى خمسة أجزاء. الأول في بيت يعقوب والثانى في قصر العزيز. أما الثالث ففى محنة السجن يليه الجزء الرابع أبناء يعقوب في مصر وأخيراً ما أسماه جزاء الصابرين ومن المميز للدراسة تناولها أحداث وأساليب وألفاظ الرواية بحس يتناسب مع القصة وتلك المعانى التى ورودت فهيا من رحمة ورفق وصبر فى المحن و توبة وكذلك الرؤيا وتأويلها وما يحتله هذا العنصر من اهمية خاصة في قصة سيدنا ( يوسف عليه السلام ).. فإلى قرأنيا هذه القصة البديعة مصحوبة بدراسة وأعية تدلخنا إلى اعماق الآيات القرآنية بما تحملة من مشاعر وأحادث ذات نكهة نوراينة.
