تحاول هذه الدراسة المختصرة تسليط الأضواء على الأبعاد الشاملة والمعمقة للحجاب. وعرض الحجاب بمضمونه الإسلامي الأصيل مع التوقف عند التشويهات الغريبة المعتمدة. والحجاب الإسلامي بحسب هذه الدراسة ليس مجرد ستار يغطى به شعر الرأس، بل هو حلقات ثلاث متصلة بعضها بالبعض ومترابطة ومتكاملة. فالحجاب في أساس يبدأ من الداخل، من الأعماق العقلية والنفسية للمرأة المحجبة؛ وهذا ما أسماه المؤلف (بالحجاب الداخلي)، ويتصل كذلك بالمستوى الثاني للحجاب، وهو الحجاب الظاهري الشرعي الذي يعني تطهير مظهر المرأة من كل جوانب ومسببات الإثارة والريبة الشهوية وهو ما أسماه أيضاً (بالحجاب الظاهري)؛ وهذه الحلقات تتصل بقاعدة ومفهوم مشترك وهو: رفع قيمة المرأة بحيث أن لا تتعرض للإغراء والإثارة، وأن لا تتحول هي لأداة إغراء أو إثارة.
