يشكل عنوان النص الأدبي اليوم ظاهرة إبداعية، وعنصراً مركزياً وفاعلاً من عناصر النص الموازي، خاصة وأنه بدأ يثرى وينمو ويؤسس لنفسه فلسفته الخاصة التي صعدت به إلى مستوى مضاهاة النص أو الإستقلال النصي في أجناس الخطاب الأدبي كافة، جرّاء تزايد إهتمام كل من المبدع والمتلقي بما يحيط بمتن النص من (عتبات سيميائية) يتصدر العنوان مقدمتها، مفتاحاً تأويلياً، وعاملاً مساعداً بل ومركزياً في فك مغاليق النص المندرج تحته.
لذا وجدنا أن دراسة العنوان بوصفه إشكالية بحد ذاته، والإنفتاح التطبيقي على عنوان القصيدة في شعر محمود دوريش - لما لتجربة الشاعر عموماً من فرادة، وما لعنوان قصيدته من خصوصية - وجدنا أن ذلك كله يمكن أن يصب في مصب الجهود التي تسعى إلى تلبية حاجة، وسد ثغرة توفرت عليها المكتبة العربية سواء فيما يخص الإشكالية العنوانية التي لم تستوف حقها من الدرس، أم فيما يخص العينة الدرويشية التي اهتم الجهد النقدي بمتنها إهتماماً ملحوظاً، دون الوقوف عند جماليات العنوان في خطابها الشعري، في عصر لم يترك الهم الأكاديمي فيه جانباً من جوانب ومتعلقات الإبداع؛ إلا وحاول جاهداً سبر غوره والكشف عن دقائقه متوخياً بذلك فتح العملية النقدية إلى فضاءات ارحب لفهم اشمل وأكثر موضوعية للعملية الإبداعية.
