تختال حوّاء في "حديقة جسمها" وتنشغل… ويفيض عنها سحرها، تغوي به آدم، فتشتعل في قلبيّهما العاطفة وتتلألأ في روحيّهما أسرار الحياة، حتى لا يود أيُّ منهما يقوى على مقاومة الجمال في جسديْهما.
كان آدمُ ولا يزال منتشياً بوجوده، وحوّاء ترقبه بحبور وشهوة ولكن بصبْر مصطنع، وباتت تدفعها نيران الرغبة ويمنعها حرير الحياء، ترشُّ على جسدها توابل التردّد والدلال فينتشي في آدم الخيال: فيدنيها وتقصيه، ويُجنًّ بها وتُجنُّ به، وتهبطَ به ويعلو بها ويُخضِعُها ويخْضَعُ لها، ويَفْعَلُ بها ما لا يخطُرُ على بالِهِ وبالها في خيالهِ"، قبل أن يصحو على وقع صوْتها الذي يموج كنغمةٍ مائيةٍ في الكأس.
ثم يهدأ… ويجئ كلامُ الحرير ليُدفِّئ المعنى الناعم، يدفُع بموجة شمس إلى عتمة الذهبْ، ما بين النهدين، فيضئ الليلُ قلبَ العاشق، ويخضرُّ الهواءُ على مهب أنفاسها، ويضحك الماءُ البعيد حين تنظر إلى غيمةٍ شاردة، وتقول له "وأنت بعيد احتضنك كما لو كنت نهديّ، فيقول لها نظْرتُكِ تذوّبني فأصيرُ موسيقى، فتقول له: يداكَ على ركبتيَّ تجعل الوقتَ يعرقْ، فافركني لأذوب.
لتهب العاصفة، ولتكسّر حدود المستحيل حتى "لا تدري يداكَ أم يداها تُلمّانكَ وتحملانكَ كنسْرٍ أُغمي عليه في فضاءٍ يدلفُ كواكب… فتنظر من العينين نصف المفتوحتين على العينين نصف المغمضتين… وتسقطان دفعةً واحدة من أعلى سماءٍ إلى نعاسٍ مبللٍ بالرذاذ.
