يمضي "مراد بو كرزازة" للطفولات البعيدة، يدخل دهاليزها المظلمة، يفتش في الزوايا عن بقايا صور، ويغوص من التعب والألم في شيء يدعى "الأسى" ليروي سيرة رجل كان يمتلئ بالفرح، بالنزق، بالحزن وبالحياة. وصار بعد كل الجرارات التي عبرت جثته مجرد شبح طويل.. يغادر إلى شمس مضروبة في تألق ضوئها.. إلى بلادات تصيّر اللحظة في توقيته عمراً مفتوحاً على الموت أو الاحتضار على أبعد نجاة. في هذه الرواية الممتزجة بسيرته الذاتية بشكل كبير يروي "بو كرزازة" قصة جيل من الجزائريين الذين عرفوا المعاناة، ويفتح سيرة الذي حدث في الجزائر، بعين جزائرية، تكون الرؤية من خلالها أكثر وضوحاً لواقعها الغامض.
