-أمّا القوة السياسية فقد بلغت اوجها في عصر الأمير فخر الدين المعني الثاني حين توحّد جبل لبنان وقامت إمارة معنيّة واسعة الأرجاء نَعِم أهلها بعيش مشترك مطمئّن، في ظلّ حكم عادل مستنير، ودولة سيدة مستقلة.
-كل ذلك في دراسة تاريخية موضوعية، وأسلوب يجمع إلى الوضوح، الدقة والعمقَ، كما عوَّدتنا الدكتورة نجلاء أبو عز الدين في مؤلفاتها التي صدرت سابقاً باللغتين العربية والإنكليزية.
