الدارس للصهيونية بوصفها فكرة وعقيدة لا بد وأن تشده تلك الظواهر السياسية والإيديولوجية التي ميزت الحركة الصهيونية من غيرها كحركة استعمار استيطانية عنصرية. والنقطة التي يركز عليها هذا الكتاب هي أطماع الصهيونية ومخططاتها التوسعية عبر المراحل التي مرت بها والعوامل النفسية والسياسية التي حكمتها ومكنتها من لعب دورها بشكل جماعي وبقوة مدعومة دولياً لتحقيق حلمها في تحديد ما يسمى "الوطن القومي" الذي يستند إلى الحجج الدينية والذرائع التاريخية والسياسية، وكلها أمور واهية وزائفة.
ولعل أخطر ما في الأمر أن الكيان الصهيوني والعديد من القوى السياسية الدولية الفاعلة في الصراع العربي-الإسرائيلي قد قطعت شوطاً بعيداً في تسريب منطق تعدد البدائل وطرح الحلول الجزئية أو المبتورة لما يسمى باستراتيجية البحث عن السلام في المنطقة.
هذا الكتاب يقلب بعض الصفحات التاريخية لكافة الحلول والمشاريع التي طرحت أو اتخذت عبر مراحل تطور القضية الفلسطينية.
