"جفرا لغاية في نفسها" هي أكثر من رواية إنها تنهيدة كما أراد لها مؤلفها "مروان عبد العال" فقسمها إلى ثلاث تنهيدات حملت عناوين متعددة في كل عنوان نقرأ حالة استنطقها ليعبر بها عن مضمون روايته، فراح يسمي إحداها بالصمت والأخرى بالصدى، سر الخاتم، يوم، وادي، مطر، هبز الحياة، الاختيار، الشخص، شغف، قطار، المدى... إلى آخر ذلك من معان رمزية يرسم بها وجهاً لجفرا؟ فهل هذه الصورة صامتة، أن ناطقة، أم ماذا؟
"كيف يرسم رأساً لا يعرف ما يدور داخله، والآ، كيف يرسم وجهاً لم يره قط، ولكن سمع عنه، هل الأذن كافية لنقل الصورة؟؟؟".
من خلال جفرا يجسد أديبنا قضية وطن "جفرا بالنسبة له قضية، أحجية لذاكرة غارقة في يم عميق، تحتاج كل أحاسيسه كي يعثر عليها". ففي حبكة فنية عالية المستوى، وقدرة على طرح مواضيع متنوعة حساسة في جوهرها، جريئة في طرحها، عن الحب والوطن والدين والسياسة يؤكد المؤلف قدرته على إبداع تراث فني مثل جفرا، بكل كينونتها، يعبر بها عن حال الاغتراب الذي سكن الروح العربية منذ نكبة فلسطين 1948. "جفرا.. كانت تنشد الأشعار وتبوح للسر المدفون على شاطئ عكا وتغني، وأنا لعيونك يا جفرا سأغني".
يقول كيف لهذه المخلوقة الساكنة في قبر ترابي تكون أول من أحدث في أعماقي سر هذا التغيير؟ "هنا تسكن جفرا، جفرا الغريبة، تقطن في غربة نفسها، تدفن سرها في صدرها وتحمل مثلي بطاقة زرقاء تدل على هويتها الغريبة، عليها صورة بالأبيض والأسودـ تميل نحو اللون الأصفر، وعليها دمعة المكبة بلون بنفسجي، حتى وجهها لقد تشوه كثيراً، وضعت عليه ندبة من ألم الممهور بالفجيعة".
"<فرا" هي رؤية جديدة جسدت قضية الوطن، بكل أحلامه وآماله وشجونه، فحملت معه جفرا غاية وجودها.
