هذه الدراسة تجمع كل ما كتبة شعراء العرب والترك المحدثون عن الحلاج، وتدرسه دراسة تحليلية نقدية مقارنة، وتربط بين ذلك وبين تيارات الحياة الفكرية والاجتماعية المعاصرة فى المجتمعين العربى والتركى. وقد قصر الباحث دراسته على تيار الحركة الشعرية الثانية فى الشعر التركى الحديث والتى تبدا من سنة 1940 لأنها تعاصر زمنيا ما تناولته الدراسة من شعر عربى حديث كما تمتاز هذه الفترة بظهور اتجاه إسلامى جديد فى الشعر التركى له ملامحه الخاصة التى تتميزة عن سائر الاتجاهات الاشتراكية والقومية. والله أسأل أن أكون قد وفقت إلى إضافة جديد مفيد للدراسات الأدبية الحديثة فى العربية والتركية وأن تكون هذه الدراسة فاتحة خير لدراسات أخرى أكثر دقة واتم نضجاً سعياً نحو الغاية المنشودة الفراغ الهائل فى الدراسات الأدبية المقارنة بين الآداب الإسلامية الحديثة.
