تسعى هذه الدراسة إلى الكشف عن بعض المستويات اللغوية البارزة التي يتم من خلالها تشكيل المضمون الفني السردي في النص الروائي العربي المعاصر.
ولهذه المتسويات حضور نسبي في السرد العربي المعاصر، تبعاً لطبيعتها النوعية من جهة، ولاستيعاب الكاتب لها ولأدبياتها من جهة أخرى، ثم أخيراً لما تمليه طبيعة زمن الكتاب ومقامها. ومن هنا فإننا نحدد مدخلنا للقراءة بأنه مدخل علامي دلالي، يهدف إلى التقاط الشفرات الكبرى للنص محاولاً ربطها بالمضامين الكبرى للرواية، وهي مضامين سعينا إلى ربطها بنص الواقع، اقتناعاً منا بأن النص لا يبدع من فراغ، وإنما يحمل رسالة ويخاطب معيناً ويتوسل إلى أهدافها (بلغة) هي في حد ذاتها رؤية للعالم وتصور لما ينبغي أن يكون عليه.
