ومن ثم يتحدث عن بعض المشكلات الريفية المرتبطة بالتنمية الاقتصادية ومنها نذكر ظاهرة التحضر، المشكلات المتصلة بإدخال الأساليب التكنولوجية الحديثة في الإنتاج الريفي المشكلات الناجمة عن تعارض العادات والسمات الاجتماعية... من ثم ذكر المشكلات الريفية المرتبطة بجوانب التنمية الاجتماعية، مشكلة الأمية، البيئة الصحية، التخطيط العمراني، التهوية، الإضاءة، الأمراض الشائعة في الريف... أما المشكلات المتصلة ببرامج الإصلاح الريفي فكان للباحث عندها وقفه مطولة تناول فيها المشكلات المتصلة بتصميم الخدمات الريفية والمشكلات المتصلة بإدارة الخدمات الريفية.
