فاجأت سحر مندور الجميع بقصتها "سأرسم نجمة على جبين فيينا": نص يقطع أنفاس القارئ، فيه طرب وأفلام قديمة وعصيان، ولعب على الكلمات والمحظورات، وضحك مبطن ينتاب القارئ عند مفارق الجمل. الصحافية الشابة التي ترصد العالم، بدت يومذاك كأنها تسعى إلى تخريبه. طبعاً بكثير من اللياقة، بشئ من الملعنة، كالبنات المهذبات اللواتي يخفين لعبتهن على الجميع. فجأة رأينا سحر تمد لسانها للعالم.

"يلعن أبو البنات!".
تلك هي الكلمة الأولى التي افتتحت بها أذنا فيينا حاسة السمع. أما القول فانطلق مع "واع"، تحاول أن تنتشر بواسطتها في كامل أرجاء تلك الغرفة البيضاء القاتمة لشدة نقائها، واستقرت الصفعة المقدسة فوق مؤخرتها المشرعة أمام أعين الطبيب والممرضات.. أظن أن فيينا التمست حنق الطبيب عبر مؤخرتها.
لم تتوقف المعاملة الخشنة عند هذا الحد، فلقد أصر الطبيب، وهي تناجي بيديها صدر أمها، أن يرسلها برفقة ممرضة إلى غرفة أخرى ليتم تفقد نبض قلبها. وبعجز تام، انتقلت إلى الغرفة الأخرى، وعادت منها مثلما ذهبت: نبضها ممتاز حكيم. ممتاز! أرادت أن تفرح وترقص وتطلب كأساً من الشمبانيا، لكن تجهم الطبيب أعادها إلى حجمها الطبيعي.
