"فلسفة الرياضية" كتاب يتحدث فيه المصنف وهو الدكتور الأستاذ بجامعة الإسكندرية وبجامعة بيروت العربية عن المواضيع التالية: الصلة بين العلوم والفلسفة، حركات النقد الذاتي في العلوم وفلسفة العلوم، التعريف التقليدي للرياضية بموضوعاتها، الأصول الفيزيولوجية والاجتماعية لفكرتي المكان والعود أو للهندسة والحساب، نشأة الرياضيات كعلم عند اليونانيين، لا بديل للرياضة عن منهجها، تعريف الرياضة بمنهجها، تحليل أرسطو لأسس الهندسة وتطبيق أقليدس لهذا التحليل في إقامة نسق استنباطي للهندسة، حركة النقد الذاتي في الهندسة ونشأة هندسات كثيرة في القرن التاسع عشر، معنى الحقيقة الرياضة الجديدة ضد نظرية كانط في أسس الرياضة، حركة تأسيس المسلمات في الهندسة (الأكسيوماتيك) تبتعد عن الحدس وتلتقي بالمنطق الصوري، اقتراح لهندي بوانكاريه يؤكد مدى ابتعاد مسلمات الهندسة عن الحدوس والأشكال، الشروط المنطقية لتأسيس المسلمات عند الرياضيين المعاصرين، الجبر والهندسة التحليلية، النقد الباطني في التحليل ينتهي إلى نبذ فكرة الاتصال الهندسي ويستعيض عنها بالأعداد، دور الأعداد التخيلية في تحسيب الرياضة، برنامج المذهب الحسابي ومثال رد الأعداد التخيلية إلى الأعداد الصحيحة، رد الأعداد الصماء إلى الأعداد الصحيحة، نظرية الأعداد اللامنتهية، اكسيوماتيك العدد، معنى المذهب اللوجستيقي، معالم تاريخ المنطق الرياضي، عرض لحساب القضايا الأولية في اللوجستيقيا، اشتقاق العدد أو نظرية الحساب من ثوابت المنطق، المذهب الأكسيوماتيكي، المذهب الحدسي والمذهب الحدسي الجديد.
