صدر كتاب (الرومي) بجزأيه الأول والثاني للكاتب فرانكلين د. لويس، وقد ترجمه إلى العربيّة وراجع أصوله الفارسيّة وقدّم له أ.د. عيسى العاكوب الذي يقول في مقدمته عنه: هذا الكتابُ عملٌ موسوعيٌّ نفيسٌ، يقدِّم أرضيّةً علميّةً رصينةً تتناولُ شاعرَ الصّوفي الأكبر مولانا جلال الدّين الرّوميّ (604 ـ 672هـ) فضاءً جغرافيًّا وتكوّنًا معرفيًّا على آباءٍ روحيّين كبار، وإنتاجًا أدبيّاً وعِرْ صدر كتاب (الرومي) بجزأيه الأول والثاني للكاتب فرانكلين د. لويس، وقد ترجمه إلى العربيّة وراجع أصوله الفارسيّة وقدّم له أ.د. عيسى العاكوب الذي يقول في مقدمته عنه: هذا الكتابُ عملٌ موسوعيٌّ نفيسٌ، يقدِّم أرضيّةً علميّةً رصينةً تتناولُ شاعرَ الصّوفي الأكبر مولانا جلال الدّين الرّوميّ (604 ـ 672هـ) فضاءً جغرافيًّا وتكوّنًا معرفيًّا على آباءٍ روحيّين كبار، وإنتاجًا أدبيّاً وعِرْفانيّاً قُيّض له أن يُنزَلَ مُنزَلًا عَليّاً في ذواكر أشخاصٍ على امتداد البسيطة، وطريقةً صوفيّةً تهيّأ لها أنصارٌ ومريدون في أصقاع مختلفة من المعمورة، وتأثيرًا قويًّا تخلّل بيئاتٍ ثقافيّةً شرقيّةً وغربيّةً، قديما وحديثًا. وفي الجملة، يقدِّم كتابُ «الرّوميّ: ماضياً وحاضراً، شرقاً وغربًا» مادّةً معرفيّةً عن الشّاعر الكبير مولانا جلال الدّين الرّوميّ مبنيّةً على التحقيق والكشْف وتقليب النّظر في المصادر وفي الأنظار والأخبار لتخليص الحقيقيّ من الأسطوريّ، والرّاسخ من المتأرجح، من المعلومات والمعارف المتّصلة بهذا المبدِع الكبير وأشياخه وتلاميذه.
