هذا الكتاب النفيس للشيخ بهاء الدين العاملي، مكتوب في الأصل باللغة الفارسية وهذه هي المرة الأولى التي يترجم فيها إلى اللغة العربية.
وقد اختار الشيخ البهائي تبسيط آرائه وأحكامه وتقريبها إلى أذهان الناس من خلال اعتماد الأسلوب القصصي بلسان القط والفأر.
فالقط هو "طالب علم" أو "متفيقه" لم يصل إلى مرحلة الاجتهاد ومع ذلك يبيح لنفسه أن يقف واعظاً في أمور الدين والدنيا.
