وتزوجت خطيبته.. وخلفت أبناء وبنات، ونسيه أصدقاؤه وزملاؤه وجيرانه، ولم يبق يذكره إلا ذلك المقاوم الحبشي العجوز وهو يقص على أبنائه وأصدقائه أنباء مقاومة الحبشة للإستعمار، وقصة ذلك الفتى الليبي الجريء الشجاع "منصور" الذي انضم إلى صفوف المقاومبن الأحرار. ولا تذكره في ليبيا إلا هذه العجوز وهي تلح على الناس أن يكتبوا لها خطاباً إلى ابنها الغائب في الحبشة.
