صحفي مصري بدأ حياته العملية في جريدة «الوفد» عام 2002، ثم التحق بجريدة «المصري اليوم» مع بداية التأسيس عام 2004، تدرج في قسم الاقتصاد حتى منصب نائب رئيس القسم الاقتصادي بالجريدة؛ بجانب مسئوليته عن تغطية ملف البورصة وأسواق المال، وحصل خلال عمله على عدد من الدورات المتخصصة في الإعلام وتتبع الأموال بالتعاون مع مؤسسات BBC (بي بي سي) ومنظمة مكافحة الجريمة والفساد، و«إعلاميون من أجل صحافة استقصائية (أريج)».
تخرج في كلية التجارة قسم إدارة أعمال من جامعة عين شمس، ثم حصل على دبلوم تحليل أسواق المال- كلية الاقتصاد والعلوم السياسية بجامعة القاهرة.
أنتج العديد من القصص الصحفية المتخصصة فى تتبع المال إبّان وبعد الثورة منها كشف الأكواد والبيانات السرية لتعاملات جمال وعلاء مبارك بالبورصة بجريدة «المصري اليوم»، بخلاف إنتاجه مجموعة من التحقيقات والتقارير الاستقصائية المتخصصة في تتبع المال منها أموال الرئيس التركي أردوغان، وسوزان مبارك، وأموال قادة الإخوان المسلمين وجمعياتهم بالخارج في لندن.
تولى، خلال رحلة عمله، منصب مدير تحرير الموقع الإلكتروني لجريدة «الوطن»، بعد أن تولى رئاسة قسم التحقيقات بالجريدة، وأحد مؤسسي قناة «سي بي سي إكسترا»، بجانب عمله كمدير تحرير برنامج «لازم نفهم» (برنامج التحقيقات الاستقصائية الذي قدمه الإعلامي مجدي الجلاد على قناتي سي بي سي، وسي بي سي
