يشخص ما كان عليه السوريون من محنة كبرى إثر احتلال الفرنسيين لدمشق، وفرضهم الانتداب بكل جبروته وطغيانه على المواطنين، وتصميمهم على فرض أنظمتهم وثقافتهم وأنماط حياتهم ولاسيما مناهج التعليم على الجيل الناشئ فى الوطن العزيز، وفى هذا السياق حالوا دون إنشاء كليات جديدة فى الجامعة السورية، لتبقى مقتصرة على كليتى الحقوق والطب، ودفعوا بحملة البكالوريا السورية للدراسة فى
يشخص ما كان عليه السوريون من محنة كبرى إثر احتلال الفرنسيين لدمشق، وفرضهم الانتداب بكل جبروته وطغيانه على المواطنين، وتصميمهم على فرض أنظمتهم وثقافتهم وأنماط حياتهم ولاسيما مناهج التعليم على الجيل الناشئ فى الوطن العزيز، وفى هذا السياق حالوا دون إنشاء كليات جديدة فى الجامعة السورية، لتبقى مقتصرة على كليتى الحقوق والطب، ودفعوا بحملة البكالوريا السورية للدراسة فى معاهد فرنسا وجامعاتها، والعودة إلى الوطن بشهاداتها وثقافاتها وأفكارها المناهضة بجملتها للمبادئ الإسلامية، والتقاليد العربية الأصيلة، فانبرى رجال أفذاذ ومصلحون كبار من دعاة الإسلام فى كل أرجاء البلاد يقرعون أجراس الخطر ويستنهضون الهمم، ويحثون المؤمنين على التمسك بمبادئ الإسلام، والالتزام بأحكامه، والتقيد بمثله وآدابه، ثم نشأت جمعيات إسلامية ظاهرت هذا التوجه، لتنبثق عنها جماعة الإخوان المسلمين، التى حملت الراية واستقطبت جيلاً من العاملين والدعاة، تكسرت على صخرته أمواج التغريب والعلمنة، يوضح هذا الكتاب إنجازات الإخوان المسلمين فى سورية التى انتهت بتحرير الأجيال الصاعدة من مركب النقص حيال التفوق الغربى عسكرياً وحضارياً، والتأكيد على هويتها وانتمائها، وكيف عادت سوريا وبلاد الشام الأخرى إلى أصالتها، والثبات على عقيدة الإسلام ومبادئ الرسالة المنقذة، واستئناف دورها الذى تتصل جذوره بما كان عليه قدوتنا سيد الأنام، عليه أفضل صلاة وأزكى سلام.
