شاهدت نفسي أسقط من عالٍ؛ لأغوص في مياه النهر العذبة، ولسوء حظي وحظه يراني صيادٌ بائسٌ؛ فيقرر أن ينقذني وهو يسب أحيانًا ويستغفر ويحوقل أحيانًا أخرى، ثم يلعن الظروف والحياة التي جعلت شابًا كالورد مثلي بأن يأخذ حياته بيديه.
ربما ستكون عملًا ممتازًا قبل أن يطلب مني الصياد بيع روحي من أجل أمنيتي أو أن يطلب مني تجهيز نفسي لإنقاذ العالم.
هزمني اليأس، لم أرَ شخصًا يائسًا من قبل؛ ل شاهدت نفسي أسقط من عالٍ؛ لأغوص في مياه النهر العذبة، ولسوء حظي وحظه يراني صيادٌ بائسٌ؛ فيقرر أن ينقذني وهو يسب أحيانًا ويستغفر ويحوقل أحيانًا أخرى، ثم يلعن الظروف والحياة التي جعلت شابًا كالورد مثلي بأن يأخذ حياته بيديه.

هزمني اليأس، لم أرَ شخصًا يائسًا من قبل؛ لأنه عجز عن الانتحار، الجو حارٌ جدًا، لا أجد طريقةً مناسبة للخلاص من حياتي، وللوصول لقصتي المنشودة.
أمشي بدون هدف، أرى وجهي في نافذات المحلات، الناس يرونني شابًا، ولا أرى إلا انعكاس رجلٍ عجوز.. أشعر بقلبي رماديًا أكثر من رؤيتي.. أهرب من نظراتٍ لشخصٍ أظن أنه كاد يعرفني، آخر ما أريده الآن هو شخصٌ آخر يأتي؛ ليسألني عن الجزء الثاني من (سماء الغزلان) ، ويناقش معي نهايتها ،ويستمر في الحديث متسائلًا عن أعمالي القادمة.
المباني كانت أحن علي من عيون المارة، فالتجأت بأحدها وسقطت لاهثًا أخرج شفرة الموسي؛ لأقطع بها شراييني، ثم أتوقف في اللحظة الأخيرة وأقول لنفسي:
ـ لا ليس هكذا.. وليس الآن ربما غدًا.. ربما غدًا.
