عبارة عن قراءة نقدية ووصفية لمذكرات الفريق نزار الخزرجي التي اصدرها المركز العربي للأبحاث ودراسة السياسات بعنوان مذكرات مقاتل. والفريق لخزرجي كان ضابطًا بارزًا في الجيش العراقي ورئيسًا لأركانه في إحدى مراحل الحرب العراقية-الإيرانية. إما الكاتب فهو المستشار البحري لرئيس الأركان نفسه، ومستشاره لشؤون البحث والتطوير ايضًا. وبهذا المعنى يمكن القول أن عسكريًا عراقيًا خاض الحرب ض عبارة عن قراءة نقدية ووصفية لمذكرات الفريق نزار الخزرجي التي اصدرها المركز العربي للأبحاث ودراسة السياسات بعنوان مذكرات مقاتل. والفريق لخزرجي كان ضابطًا بارزًا في الجيش العراقي ورئيسًا لأركانه في إحدى مراحل الحرب العراقية-الإيرانية. إما الكاتب فهو المستشار البحري لرئيس الأركان نفسه، ومستشاره لشؤون البحث والتطوير ايضًا. وبهذا المعنى يمكن القول أن عسكريًا عراقيًا خاض الحرب ضد إيران يتصدى لقراءة مذكرات عسكري عراقي خاض بدوره معارك الحرب ضد إيران منذ اندلاعها في 22/9/1988، فكانت إحدى أطول حروب القرن العشرين.
