خاضت حماس ملحمة غير متوقعة بالرغم من الهجوم الشرس، ولم يتمرد الغزاويون عليها كما توقع الإسرائيليون، واستمر إطلاق الصواريخ على الصهاينة، وقُتل عدد من جنودهم مع تفوقهم في العدد والعدة.
وتدنت سمعة إسرائيل إلى الحضيض، وظهرت بصورة المعتدي على المدنيين والمنشآت الدولية.
ووقف أحرار العالم يتحدونها ويدعمون غزة، ورفعوا في هذا السبيل قضايا دولية ضد قادتها الذين عدوهم مجرمي حرب.
