إنّ إسكندر كرباج، وأصلُه من زحلة في البقاع، عندما كان شابًّا لبنانيًّا طموحًا، هاجرَ إلى البرازيل في العام 1897، في سنّ الثانية عشرة. مارس الاقتصاد في كازا برانكا، ولكنّ هذا لم يردعه عن متابعة دراسته. تعلّمَ العربيّة والبرتغاليّة وصارَ كاتبًا مشهورًا. إنّ شغفَه للكتابة شجّعته على ممارسة مهنة الصحافة. وفي العام 1933، التحق بالعصبة الأندلسيّة التي أسّسَها فريقٌ من الكتّاب وا
إنّ إسكندر كرباج، وأصلُه من زحلة في البقاع، عندما كان شابًّا لبنانيًّا طموحًا، هاجرَ إلى البرازيل في العام 1897، في سنّ الثانية عشرة. مارس الاقتصاد في كازا برانكا، ولكنّ هذا لم يردعه عن متابعة دراسته. تعلّمَ العربيّة والبرتغاليّة وصارَ كاتبًا مشهورًا. إنّ شغفَه للكتابة شجّعته على ممارسة مهنة الصحافة. وفي العام 1933، التحق بالعصبة الأندلسيّة التي أسّسَها فريقٌ من الكتّاب والشعراء اللبنانيّين والعرب. كان كاتبًا خصيبًا ترك خلفه مؤلّفاتٍ أدبيّة عربيّة وقصصًا مترجمَة من البرتغاليّة. توفّي إسكندر كرباج في العام 1953 بعد أن كان عاش حياةً مليئة بالنجاح والتضحيات.
