6- أبرز شيوخه: زيد البقاعي, أبو الفتوح بن عثمان العمراني, زيد بن عبد الله اليفاعي.
7- أبرز تلاميذه: طاهر بن يحيى بن أبي الخير العمراني.
8- أهم مصنفاته: البيان في فروع الشافعية, وغرائب الوسيط, والزوائد, والأحداث, وشرح الوسائل, ومختصر الإحياء, ومناقب الإمام الشافعي.
