ويمكن القول بأن التغييرات التحويلية التي أحدثتها تداعيات المقاومة العراقية على مستوى توازن القوة إقليمياً ودولياً لم تعط حتى الآن كافة نتائجها، وملامح هذه المقاومة التي يحاول هذا الكتاب رسمها لا تعنى على الإطلاق تبلور وإكتمال نتائج الصراع التي قد تبدو من الناحية الظاهرية أنها تميل إلى الإستقرار إلا أن إحتمالات التحول كامنة ومستمرة لأن مولدات الصراع الأصلية ومحركاته لا تزال باقية كما هي.
