الكتاب السادس في سلسلة "تقارير مختارة" التي أخذت مؤسسة الدراسات الفلسطينية تصدرها منذ أوائل سنة 2007. وهو يضم تقريراً أعدته 22 منظمة أوروبية يكشف بالمعلومات الدقيقة والأرقام والإحصاءات دور مؤسسات صناعية ومالية أوروبية في بقاء المستعمرات وإنمائها، إضافة إلى تقديم معظم دول الاتحاد الأوروبي تسهيلات لاستيراد منتوجات المستعمرات وتسويقها في البلاد الأوروبية، على الرغم من تكرار إصدار المواقف الرسمية التي تجزم بعدم شرعية الاستيطان الإسرائيلي في الأراضي المحتلة. كما يضم الكتاب وثيقة للاتحاد الأوروبي (صدرت مؤخراً) بوقف التعامل مع المستعمرات في الأراضي الفلسطينية المحتلة، ابتداء من سنة 2014؛ وهو وعد يدعو إلى التفاؤل فيما لو أُتيح له أن ينفَّذ. وهذه فرصة لا شك في أن الفلسطينيين والعرب مسؤولون عن عدم إضاعتها من خلال وسائط ضغط فعالة يستطيعون ممارستها إزاء دول الاتحاد، إذا عقدوا العزم على ذلك.
