هذا الكتاب محاولة لتسليط الضوء على عبادة الأصنام ونشأتها عبر التاريخ البشري، لقد ذكرت لنا كتب التاريخ أن نبي الله محمداً صلى الله عليه وسلم قد نجح في نقل الجزيرة العربية من عبادة الأصنام إلى توحيد الله تعالى خلال مدة ثلاثة وعشرين عاماً توجت عام ثمانية للهجرة بفتح مكة المكرمة من قبل الجيش الإسلامي حيث تم تكسير الأصنام التي كانت حول الكعبة وبذلك دفنت عبادة الأصنام إلى الأبد وأصبحت أثراً بعد عين.
لم تتعمق كتب التاريخ الكلاسيكية ببيان سبب رغبة هؤلاء بالتمسك بأصنامهم وبذل التضحيات النفيسة التي تصل أحياناً إلى التضحية بالنفس والولد والإستبسال في القتال من أجل حماية هذه العبادة الضالة.
ولم تقم هذه الكتب بالربط بين عبادة الأصنام في فترة الجاهلية قبل الرسول محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم وما سبقها من أقوام آخرين عبدوا أيضاً الأصنام وأصروا على عبادتها حيث تبدو عبادة الأصنام والكفاح من أجل بقائها حركة متسلسلة عبر تاريخ البشرية السحيق تتوارثها الأجيال جيلاً بعد جيل.
في هذا الكتاب يحاول أن نسبر أغوار الأحداث الواقعة ونحلل ما قدرنا على التحليل جهود الأنبياء الموحدين في الكفاح ضد الأصنام للوصول إلى حقيقة هذه العبادة وجهود الذين يقفون ورائها ليتبين من خلال ذلك خيوط المؤامرة التي تم حبكها في الخفاء ضد مسيرة الإنسانية من أجل التحرر من القيود السياسية والإجتماعية والإقتصادية التي تتحكم بها لنبقي على واقعها المذل لصالح طبقة أصحاب النفوذ.
كيف تم التحكم بمصائر الناس والسيطرة عليهم وما هو الفكر الذي يعطي الغطاء لهذا الإستغلال وما هي أدوات التنفيذ.
