ولد في مسقط - سلطنة عمان في ابريل 1971م ، حاصل على دبلوم عالي في دراسات الحاسب الآلي ودبلوم في علم اللوازم من الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية ، يكتب القصة القصيرة منذ اواخر الثمانينات من القرن المنصرم ، نشر في العديد من المجلات الثقافية المحلية والخليجية التي كانت تصدر في ذلك الوقت .
من مؤلفاته : قلق آخر - 2006م و ضجيج الأسماء العابرة - 2009م .
وفي الطبع : أحاديث صحيحة من أطراف البلدة .

وأنت في دربك إلى المدرسة -السجن كما تصفها- تمر على (راعي الهريس) و(راعي الخبز). أما (راعي الهريس صبيح) فإنك لا تكاد تراه حتى يتحرك شيء ما في أمعائك. يحرضك ذلك الشيء على نصب حبالتك لعم صبيح لسرقة لقمة أو لقمتين من هريسه المشوب بالسمن المقشود. أما عم مرهون (راعي الخبز). فإن التنور قد صوح سحنته وأحالها إلى صفرة الجادي عن حمرة الورد -كما وصف أحدهم- تضاحكه وتخاتله ثم لا يلبث ذلك الشيء الذي ينبض في داخلك أن يسول لك باقتراف إثم يضاف إلى رصيدك من الآثام ما ظهر منها وما بطن. وأنت في دربك أيضاً لله كثيراً لله ما سمعوك تترنم بصوتك الرخيص بمقاطع من أغنية قديمة لطالما لاكتها الألسن (عماني أصلي وفصلي). أغنية تهز مشاعرك من الداخل. فتتخايل في مشيتك. وتضيق الأرض عن حملك.
